we are happy to share our experience from the recent trip to Ljubljana for the Civic EU project. Over three days participants had the opportunity to learn about ways to encourage young people to be more active in civic life, good practices from partner countries (Romania, Latvia, Italy and Slovenia) and rules for meaningful youth participation.
Participants also learnt how to effectively carry out social monitoring and how to use public data. Danes je nov dan presented different projects in which young people can monitor the operation of politics at a local and national level through the collection of publicly available data. Participants also took part in an activity monitoring the transparency and reporting of their local municipalities. The training ended with a visit to the Zavod Bob and colouring Easter eggs.
